Mark Irwin was born in Long Beach, CA, and raised in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism (B.A., Communication Arts and Sciences). Mr. Irwin earned his Juris Doctor in Law from Western State University – College of Law. He graduated from law school second in his class after earning three Witkin Awards for academic excellence. He worked as a law clerk for the Law Offices of Wishart & Garland prior to entering the practice of law.
Mr. Irwin has been a member of the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) since 2006. He is also a member of the OCBA and California State Bar Family Law Sections. Mr. Irwin has been admitted to practice law before the California Bar.
Mr. Irwin has long been active in his community. He served on the Orange County Family Violence Council as a member of the Steering Committee from 2004-2009. He was instrumental in the development of the Family Justice Center, a one-stop, multi-agency facility in Orange County which opened its doors in 2006, and provides services for victims of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and elder/dependent adult abuse. Mr. Irwin has almost twenty-five years experience in law enforcement, a field in which he is still active. Mr. Irwin served as Vice-President of the non-profit Family Justice Center Foundation, Inc., from 2006-2009, where he currently still serves as a member of the Executive Advisory Committee. Mr. Irwin has also been involved in his neighborhood youth soccer and Little League baseball organizations for many years.
Mr. Irwin limits his practice to Family Law. He currently accepts cases in Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles counties.
